  1. I agree with the author because paying with credit can encourage people to spend a lot of money. First, credit card contain a lot of money which you can carry it out very convenient and safe , and you can buy many foods immediately if the store support to use credit. For example, new special cookies come out which is $80 and looks so good in advertisement, the purchase’s process going very fast if people use credit, because they think less of the money they earned. But cash user unlike that, when they take out cash and count their money, they will think about many questions; how they earn the money? Is it worth? How much money remains after they buy the food? Those questions make you calm down from impulsive which reduce the purchase of such vice products. Second, you can use credit or debit card to buy your favorite food from online, which also is convenient and fast. This means that if you are cash user, you have to buy many things by your feet, and you will have a lot time to think about the cost you pay. For example, you live in Queens, and your favorite vice food at Manhattan. Will you want to buy it by cash? Most people will lose their pleasure of consumption when they start to think the purchase’s process. Both situations shows that credit user feel less the pain of payment than cash user, and eat more vice food than cash user by they think less about the money their earned, and paying cash is so tired.

  2. I agree with the idea that says that paying in cash is more convenient for not having unhealthy food. I think there is a visual confliction between these two types of paying methods. When we pay by card we do not think about the amount or the value of the money. We just think as we have this much money so I can use until this finished and we start consider as a deadline of spending money. So when we come to counter we just think about the amount only in number. And until reaching the dealinf of the amount we keep picking up anything in fron of the front of us mainly in counter. But when it is about the cash payment we can count the money I have and then it feels more conscious about the value of the money as it is earned by your own hard work.

Would like to see it expanded)

  3. This passage invoked the idea that people are more likely to spend money that they do not currently have at the moment via credit and debit cards. On a related note, when buying with credit or debit cards, people tend to buy things that are not healthy or beneficial for them. Several studies have also shown that when people use larger baskets when shopping, they tend to buy more items and continue shopping. Another part of the study shows that people actually buy less on the weekends because they have planned shopping lists.

I am able to share a related experience in my life. when I go to the supermarket and have only cash with me I focus more in what I really need in order to extend my money and not expend it buying unhealthy and nonproductive things and when I have both cash and the credit card I rather pay with my credit card it is a natural instinct that I have I guess is related to the studies done to prove this article. It is true how paying with credit cards can produce less anxiety when buying products, this feeling can lead to exponential wasting if the person can’t control itself. I believe that everybody should be capable of knowing how much money to waste because paying with credit card can look tempting but at the end if you don’t do your payments on time u can be paying double for what u previously bought.

In a lighter note this articles remind me my ways of saving money The best method is to make your purchases with a shopping list prepared in advance and then try not to be tempted to everything you see. Also, online shopping can save money by not being exposed to temptations. since money is the reason why we work so hard, better start realizing how to save it and be more careful when purchasing unhealthy things.

Introduce relevant summary when appropriate. Do make sure to tell us the main idea at the beginning, but additional relevant information can be found throughout the essay)
